Ireland is extending a warm welcome to all 2014 Adventure Travel World Summit delegates to explore the breathtaking areas of Kerry on the Day of Adventure, October 6, 2014. There are thirty-one Adventures to choose from. Options range from a boat ride to the World Heritage Site of Skellig Michael or learning Irish music and Gaelic games to surfing along the coast of the Wild Atlantic Way or summiting Ireland's highest peak, Carrauntoohil, plus many more. Ireland Tourism is offering a mix of culture and history with activities and adventure, and we're sure there's something for everyone.

Each Day of Adventure is free of charge for all registered Summit delegates and includes transportation, adventure activity, equipment (if needed) and lunch. All adventures depart from the INEC-Killarney at 8:00AM and return by 4:00PM. All Day of Adventures are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to change.

Pre-Summit Adventures

Need an adventure that lasts more than a day? Sign up for a Pre-Summit Adventure, with itineraries that span the island ranging in length from between three to five days before the Summit. These adventure itineraries offer an opportunity to personally experience the iconic and breathtaking coastal landscapes and the many adventure activities available in Ireland.


Killarney Accommodations


Ireland is offering several beautiful hotels at discounted rates for the ATWS. All hotels listed on their booking site include a full Irish breakfast, taxes, services, WiFi, as well as complimentary shuttles to the INEC – Killarney where the Summit will take place.
