Tourisme Autochtone, Quebec Aboriginal Tourism (QAT) will host the 4th annual International Aboriginal Tourism Conference (IATC) in Quebec City March 24 to 25th 2015 at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. The conference theme is: Commit to Achieve - The Role Of Commitment In The Performance Of Our Industry.

WINTA is partnering with QAT to identify/select suitable international speakers to present on Best Business Practices to Develop a Sustainable International Aboriginal Tourism Industry, in one of the 5 sub-themes:

  1. Commitment to self in delivering authenticity
  2. Commitment to the management of human resources in improving performance
  3. Commitment to create partnerships in reaching new heights
  4. Commitment to keep our promises in developing our customer base
  5. Commitment to actively contribute to the collective wellbeing of the tourism industry
If you are interested in submitting an expression of interest to present a case study on one of the above sub-themes, please complete/provide the information required in the submission form (click here) and email to [email protected] by Friday 12th December 2014.

All expressions of interest must be submitted in the language of the case study presentation, in either English or French. Translation services will be offered to participants during the conference.

All expressions of interest received, will be acknowledged and successful applicants will be notified before/by 16th January 2015.

QAT will give consideration to meeting the selected speakers travel, accommodation and registration costs. However, priority will be given to speakers that will attend for the full duration of the conference.
