DreamJobbing and the Tourism Authority of Thailand Announce Online Contest: Win a Trip for Two to Thailand Plus $5000 Spending Money

ThailandSmiles-2Los Angeles, CAThe Tourism Authority of Thailand, in partnership with DreamJobbing, wants to send two people to the “land of smiles.” The “What Makes You Smile About Thailand?” contest, announced today, will give one winner a trip for two to Thailand, including round-trip flights and hotel for seven days, plus $5000USD spending money. Applicants upload a 60-second video to http://dreamjobbing.com/ThailandSmiles sharing what makes them smile about Thailand.

As of today, applicants can upload a one-minute video to the DreamJobbing website to enter the contest. They should use the video as a platform to share their favorite memory or story about the time they’ve spent in Thailand, where there is plenty to make visitors smile. Is it the monks in saffron robes, the warm Thai people, the incredible food, stunning beaches and luxury hotels or the elephant experiences? Whatever the experience, it should be the focus of each video entered in the contest, which closes on February 29, 2016.

Once an applicant has submitted a video, he or she will then share the video with social-media communities using the hashtag #ThailandSmiles, thus creating a buzz around the submission and the contest itself.

Thailand is known as the “land of smiles,” a place that is full of welcoming people and stunning locations. The Tourism Authority of Thailand knows that people all over the world have wonderful memories of Thailand, so what better way to share those stories of joy from “Amazing Thailand” than via a personal video that just might win them a return trip? The authority has tapped the DreamJobbing platform to create a simple, accessible way for everyone to share those experiences.

Ben Fleming, Marketing Manager for the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Los Angeles, explains, “We’ve previously worked with the DreamJobbing team to send three winners to Thailand as wildlife volunteers. The applicants were the most passionate and dedicated that we could have found. That’s why we’re working with DreamJobbing again to discover the best stories of visiting Thailand. We want to inspire a whole new audience to make the journey!”

Lisa Hennessy, co-founder of DreamJobbing, is overjoyed to bring this opportunity to light, adding, “What isn’t there to love about Thailand? Last time I was there I played caregiver to an elephant for a day, woke up at sunrise to participate in giving alms to monks and swam in crystal blue waters. It’s such an exotic location. I’m so happy DreamJobbing is able to give someone a chance to experience it.”

The “What Makes You Smile About Thailand?” campaign will begin accepting video submissions on December 3, 2015. The platform will close for submissions on February 29, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. PST.
