Travel Marketing Worldwide Announces New Asia Pacific Portfolio

Denver, CO – Today, Travel Marketing Worldwide announces the launch of their Asia Pacific portfolio. This new portfolio, dedicated to representing properties and ground operators throughout the Asia Pacific region to US-based tour operators, includes products core to the Travel Marketing Worldwide mission focused on promoting travel experiences that are respectful cultural exchange and that offer a strong sense of place.
“Our Asia Pacific portfolio is a developing collection of the region’s most intimate properties and creative ground operators, all working hard to provide an insiders view of the land they love,” said Kathy Dragon, Principal Consultant of the Asia Pacific Portfolio. “For example, Buffalo Tours, our in-bound partner in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, is constantly pioneering responsible new travel activities and off the beaten track regions. Their most current product includes the establishment of Mai Chau Valley as a new trekking alternative to Sapa, and the recent opening of remote Ha Giang in North Vietnam to sustainable tourism. Not surprisingly, t he response has been fantastic in the US market.”
Travel Marketing Worldwide is a business-to-business marketing firm focused on helping travel agents and tour operators sell responsible, boutique travel product from Latin America, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Himalayas and Middle East. The core of Travel Marketing Worldwide’s services involve helping suppliers of experiential international travel product package and market itineraries to travel agents and tour operators in North America.  Highlights from the other TMW portfolios include:
  • Over the past 12 months the Africa portfolio successfully launched three new Tanzanian properties, including Baraza Resort and Spa on Zanzibar, The Retreat in The Selous Game Reserve, and Manyara Ranch Conservancy, a new private conservancy in Northern Tanzania.
  • The Himilayas portfolio led strategic product development of African and Indian eco-friendly products that work to support the Basecamp Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes global sustainable destination development.
  • The Himalayas portfolio launched a Nepal-based tour operator and successfully established three new US tour operator relationships on their behalf in the first quarter.
