My husband ,daughter and myself will be going in May to Machu Pichu. We are needing info on routes, to plan our alternate means of getting there.Do we need to buy tickets in advance for the bus from Cuzco to Ollantaytambo - or is that advance purchase even possible? It says then from Ollantaytambo to go by road to the restored rail link (as of March 29) -how far is the road part? We appreciate any info on this matter very much.
