SRR Logo (Sorrel and Black) 150We are located in Moab, Utah, an adventure hotspot on the Colorado River with famous hikes and trails and close to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. We are the ultimate destination for an abundance of outdoor adventures and activities including Horseback Riding, Hiking, River Activities like Rafting and Paddle Boarding, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering, Air Adventures, and Off-Roading.

We receive guests from all over the world looking to adventure in Southwestern United States’ red rock wilderness by day, then relax and rejuvenate at a full-service spa by night. They stay fueled for their voyages at our farm-to-table fine dining restaurant and collapse into bed at night in a luxuriously-appointed guest room or suite.

Our guests know that experiencing a true adventure can be achieved by finding a destination and letting them handle the logistics. They invest the time and the money and let our expert adventure concierge arrange the details to ensure the experience is beyond all expectations.

Many come out here to see where John Wayne played cowboy and to get a feel for that ruggedness themselves, riding a horse through red rock canyons and across streams. Others come to be pampered like a movie star, relaxing on their porch swing, listening to the sounds of nature, getting up only for their massage and facial, or a perfectly cooked stake and glass of wine.

Our guests, business partners, and employees vary in many ways, but still tend to share a commitment to the sustainable travel experience. We know firsthand the beauty of nature and employ practices to ensure that beauty will last. We are a pet friendly hotel have ADA-compliant accommodations so that nature can be experienced by all. We also utilize renewable energy and have employed cutting-edge solar and geothermal technologies to offset our energy requirements. Many of our rooms and the entire lodge are heated and cooled by geo-exchange and our primary IT systems and all phone systems are powered by solar energy.

We operate our own water filtration plant, which provides you with drinking water many times purer than most municipal water plants, and 80% of our in-season restaurant produce comes straight from our own organic Sorrel River Farm.

We pride ourselves in being an entirely unique destination in a beautifully unique setting, and we know that a boutique resort offering as much as ours does takes a lot of partners. We’re constantly thriving to grow our network of travel adventure connections with the ultimate goal of providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our visitors. We seek out contacts across the globe for symbiotic relationships. Our partners vary from everything to white-water rafting guides to all-natural skincare manufacturers to Visitor and Tourism Boards. We value each relationship we have and enjoy fostering those relationships through honest business dealings and personal touches.

Whatever your association with us might be, we encourage you to contact us to discuss what we all have to offer and how we might possibly work together. That, or to just say Hi. We love communicating with people from all over the world, hearing stories, and sharing experiences.
