Dear Travel and Tourism Professional,

We invite you to join us in an online conference call to discuss the exciting opportunities arising from Russia’s growing outbound travel and tourism market to the United States. Our team at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, together with local experts in the industry, look forward to sharing our views on the trends and commercial opportunities we observe in the Russian market.

About 300,000 travelers from Russia visit the United States annually, contributing millions of dollars to the U.S. economy. Russia tourists take advantage of the many opportunities that await them in the United States from swimming in the ocean to skiing in the mountains to shopping in major cities and at outlets to enjoying amusement parks across the country.

We will host the online conference call on Monday, March 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (7:00 p.m. Moscow Standard Time).  We have asked local travel and tourism experts to join the call, including:

  • Margarita Babayan, Chairperson of VisitUSA Committee Russia
  • Lidia Sladkova, Head of FIT Department, Karlson Tourism
  • Maya Lomidze, Executive Director, Russian Association of Tour Operators
To participate in the call, please RSVP by Friday, March 21 to Mr. William Muntean at [email protected] with the following information: (1) name, (2) official title, (3) company affiliation, and (4) location. He will provide the relevant call-in information.
