Jackson Hole, WY - Mountain Khakis®, a leading mountain-inspired lifestyle apparel brand, outfitted the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” crew for the show’s 2-hour finale episode aired, Monday November 26th at 9/8c on ABC.

Mountain Khakis was onsite at the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Knoxville, Tenn.  The crew of locally-based Grace Construction built a new home for the Watson family as well as a townhouse for their non-profit shelter, The Restoration House, which provides temporary housing for women and children in need.   Facing record cold temperatures and an unyielding construction schedule, Mountain Khakis outfitted the crew with the MK Stagecoach Jacket and Original Mountain Jeans during a 7-day start to finish build that began January 10, 2012.

According to Christi Branscom,  owner & president of Grace Construction, “Through rain, sleet, snow and frigid temperatures, the MK clothing kept us dry and warm, and that's a good thing because we didn't need distractions when building the Watson's Home and Restoration House in only 106 hours!”

“While we were on the beach,” said Daniel Watson, “Grace Construction and the rest of the team back in Knoxville were getting soaked in freezing conditions.  We are so grateful to Mountain Khakis for sharing the love and helping the crew stay dry and warm.  It couldn't have happened without you!"

EMHE designer Paul DiMeo paired his MK Stagecoach Jacket with his signature fireman-style hard hat.  MK’s Erin Fagan also joined up with another MK fan, EMHE designer John Littlefield who swears by his MK shorts.

“It was a completely humbling experience to be on the set of an EMHE project,” said Fagan, MK Marketing Manager.  “The dedication and compassion of the people involved, and the scope of the project… it was all very inspiring.  MK was honored to be a part of it.  We wish the Watson Family and The Restoration House the very best!”
