JITOA Website Revamp Will Serve as a Major Reference for Jordan Inbound Tourism Industry

The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) announced that it will unveil a new colorful and dynamic website soon that will include exclusive utilities and information featuring a fresh design and user friendly navigation capabilities. The website was re-created to serve as a major reference for the Jordan Inbound Tourism Industry.

The much-improved website will combine the professional image and the vibrant look of JITOA and it will portray a broader vision including more interactive applications and web services, in line with the on-going developments of the Jordan Inbound Tourism industry and in response to the needs of JITOA members.

The new website will focus on JITOA’s main pillars in raising the standards of practice in Jordan inbound tourism industry through the diverse services it offers in advocacy, capacity building and business development. It will be divided into seven main sections providing comprehensive information for the users. The sections are: About JITOA – Membership Center – Projects Center – Training Center – Career Center – Media Center – Business Center. Each section incorporates effective and interactive information and options to provide useful access to the diverse opportunities JITOA creates to its members.

The website restructure will make it highly interactive with online registration for events and newsletter subscriptions, member forums and blogging, comprehensive database and library section for members only to access regulations and documents archived according to the topics, career network; among many other features. Members also can benefit from the new website as a marketing tool for promoting their businesses.

Mr. Mohammad Samih, JITOA Chairman said “JITOA’s website will become the website that individuals, companies and executives turn to for information about inbound tourism to Jordan."

The revamp is developed under a grant from the USAID/Jordan Tourism Development Project II (Siyaha), and is redesigned and powered by SADDA Marketing and Business Solutions, a Jordan based company specialized in providing high quality web solutions and Marketing services.

The website development is currently in the final stages and will be launched very soon. JITOA members are waiting in anticipation for a whole new online experience with multi-functions and services, also for the tourism industry professionals, decision makers and co-workers to view the most recent industry updates. Each JITOA member will have its own profile where they can manage and control all the information displayed on their page at any time, also they will have exclusive accessibilities in various sections for reports, statistics, business tools and much more. “Having a strong online presence is vital to the success of any industry these days, and this applies even more to tourism,” explained Mr. Ibrahim Osta, USAID/Siyaha Chief of Party. Regarding the project’s support for JITOA’s new web site, he added, “This is part of efforts to strengthen private associations working in tourism and this initiative will help enhance the marketing and reach of JITOA and its members.”
