The second season of the successful web series follows the team on a six-week expedition of Alaska and the Yukon.

Seattle, WA - ExOfficio, a leading manufacturer of adventure travel apparel is the proud sponsor of the second season of the online adventure series Expedition Overland, premiering on October 30, 2013. As sponsor of the 2013 expedition to Alaska and the Yukon, ExOfficio outfitted the eight-member cast in technical apparel designed for travel, trekking, and fishing with benefits like sun protection, insect protection, ventilation and lightweight packability.

Following a successful first season in 2012 with more than a quarter million views and one million downloads; the second season of Expedition Overland documents the lives of eight people through a six-week expedition of Alaska and the Yukon. The series begins with every detail of preparation involved to make a major overland trip possible and ends with the revelations from each participant’s own personal journey. As the cast travels through the dynamic landscape of the north, viewers experience a humorous and moving adventure with them, meeting characters, challenges, and awe-inspiring views along the way.

“ExOfficio has been a part of our travel adventures long before Expedition Overland was ever a dream,” said Clay Croft, producer and creator of Expedition Overland. “I remember buying my first BugsAway® bandana years ago in the Sea-Tac Airport ExOfficio store on the way to a major film shoot in the skeeter-infested bush of Alaska, seeing the adventurers on the wall, thinking becoming one of them would be a dream-come-true. We’re thrilled to be part of the long history of extraordinary adventures with ExOfficio clothing on our backs and grateful for the support that made this trip possible and to inspire a sense of adventure in everyone.”

The second season of Expedition Overland is a twelve-part series of 22-minute episodes, releasing every two weeks at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time beginning on October 30, 2013. Filming locations include the states of Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming, U.S.A. and the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada, and the Canadian Yukon and Northwest Territories. The second season features an original score by Chad Gerber (a.k.a. woodrowgerber), available for free download throughout the season. To watch episodes, visit www.xoverland.com
