ATTA Expands Membership Benefits, Introduces Legal Document Templates for Tour Operators

Seattle, WA – With the expertise of attorneys Mona McPhee of McPhee Law Office, and Chun Wright of the Law Office of Chun T. Wright, PLLC, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) today added to its expanding member benefits portfolio a series of company and customer legal templates and tip sheets. Intended primarily for small- and medium-sized tour operators, the new benefit builds upon the ATTA’s increasing array of cost-saving operational services provided to its members, including the recent additions of reduced-fee services such as credit card processing, e-commerce transactions, mobile payments and currency conversion. ATTA’s new legal tools also join other specialized offerings including customer insurance and evacuation services for ATTA members’ clients. Regional meetings are open to all industry professionals, and will be followed by casual, no-host happy hours in each city (see bottom). Seattle, WA - The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) announces its new public relations contact for North America, Jennifer Hobson, Principal of JLH Media. Hobson, whose company is based in Santa Fe, will serve as the main point of contact for all media relations in North America and will focus on consumer media outreach regarding the ATTA and the adventure industry on the whole. Chris Doyle, the ATTA’s Executive Director-Europe as well as Editor of AdventureTravelNews, will remain engaged with media relations but is shifting his focus to the industry’s significant growth in Europe. Hobson’s founded JLH Media in January 2011 after three years as the New Mexico Tourism Department’s Deputy Cabinet Secretary, appointed by Governor Bill Richardson. In this role Hobson served as the state’s international PR liaison and started the country’s first statewide Ecotourism Program.
