ATTA Expands Membership Benefits, Introduces Legal Document Templates for Tour Operators

Seattle, WA – With the expertise of attorneys Mona McPhee of McPhee Law Office, and Chun Wright of the Law Office of Chun T. Wright, PLLC, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) today added to its expanding member benefits portfolio a series of company and customer legal templates and tip sheets. Intended primarily for small- and medium-sized tour operators, the new benefit builds upon the ATTA’s increasing array of cost-saving operational services provided to its members, including the recent additions of reduced-fee services such as credit card processing, e-commerce transactions, mobile payments and currency conversion. American Tourism Society Joins Forces with the Adventure Travel Trade Association

March 15, 2012

Seattle, WA— With nearly 800 members representing 82 countries, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) today announced that the American Tourism Society (ATS), a member-based tourism trade organization has joined with ATTA to bring to ATTA its geographic specialization within The Baltics, Central Europe, The Mediterranean/Red Sea, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In December 2011, the ATS Board of Directors, joined by the ATS Chairman Emeritus Alex Harris, unanimously voted in favor of dissolving the ATS entity and encouraging its members to transition into the ATTA. Effective immediately, the ATTA-ATS agreement allows the 59 influential members of the ATS to transition into the ATTA, an association offering a similar mission, membership framework and fee structure. ATTA European Director to Host Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day at ITB Berlin Convention

Adventure Travel Trade Association Introduces New Advisory Board Members

Seattle, WA – The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) has appointed three new members to its Advisory Board, including Ms. Malia Asfour, Director of the Jordan Tourism Board in North America (JTBNA), Bill Bryan, President, Off the Beaten Path, and Richard G. Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2011: ATTA’s Report on the Adventure Travel HUB

Productive partnership meetings took place at the Adventure Travel Hub. The Adventure Travel Hub, brought to the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market by the Adventure Travel Trade Association for the second consecutive year, was the confluence for more than 35 meetings between outdoor gear and apparel brands with the world-class adventure tourism destinations of Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mexico and Belize. The meetings, cultivated by ATTA through its extensive network, were designed to help foster creative partnerships and innovative marketing promotions between the adventure travel industry and the outdoor industry, whose overlapping interests and areas of expertise make for rich, synergistic outreach and branding initiatives.
