ATTA aids its members in securing publicity coverage for their companies

Continued support to journalists from and direct pitches by the ATTA have resulted in the recent surge of news coverage for the adventure travel sector and for ATTA members. Among the many stories now running, the ATTA helped to develop the Associated Press adventure travel trends piece which has earned millions of consumer impressions – the story has already run in USA Today, CNN.com, The Chicago Tribune and dozens of other influential media outlets throughout North America as well as in China.

In addition to being included in the AP story at ATTA’s prompting, 9 out of the 10 companies featured in this week’s SmarterTravel.com story in its Adventure Travel Special Report, “Ten Amazing Adventures Under $1,000” were the result of the ATTA’s call for media support from members (ATTA Member Adventure Travel Media Source also picked up on the ATTA appeal and helped to attract several of the companies noted).
