Join us for ATA’S Africa Tourism Day – Featuring our 7th Annual Presidential Forum on Tourism and our 2nd Annual Young Professionals Program Africa Tourism Roundtable. Both events will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at New York University. This day provides a unique opportunity to support tourism to Africa. RSVP and learn more about each event below!

ATA’s 7TH Annual Presidential Forum on Tourism
Benefits of Tourism on the Economy, Environment and People

Tourism leaders from across Africa, alongside senior representatives from the African Union, United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and International Council of Tourism Partners will participate in the forum. Event includes a Networking Reception and presentation of the Tanzania Tourist Board Awards. Hosted and sponsored by New York University-Africa House with support from Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA), and Tanzania Tourist Board.

When & Where: Thursday, September 27, 2012, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (doors open at 9:00 am; program starts promptly at 10:00 am) on the 4th floor of the Kimmel Center for University Life, 60 Washington Square South (between Thompson & La Guardia) at New York University

ATA's 2nd Annual Young Professionals Program Africa Tourism Roundtable

Leveraging Media to Promote African Destinations

Young professionals from the travel industry, media, as well as university faculty and students will engage in a lively discussion on implementing new media tools and strategies to best highlight African destinations.
