machu picchu panoramaSince 1996 Aracari has been designing unique, tailor-made itineraries to Peru, Bolivia and the Galapagos Islands, offering discerning travellers privileged access to regions we’ve been exploring for nearly two decades. Through extensive connections cultivated by founder Marisol Mosquera, Aracari has tapped into the expertise of specialists in nature, history, archaeology, gastronomy, art and culture. These specialists provide our guests with exclusive access, real insider status and an invaluable insight into the places they visit—all otherwise inaccessible to travellers.

logo aracariWe offer a privileged view of regions we know intimately while supporting local communities and protecting the environment, encouraging responsible and sustainable tourism. We personally test everything we offer – each hotel, restaurant and activity - before recommending them to ensure that we share the richest, most authentic experiences that are personalized to our guests tastes and preferences. This first-hand expertise is made possible by our network of specialists and the fact that we operate locally, giving us direct access to our suppliers and collaborators. Based on our travel experience and ethical standards, we hand pick hotels, guides and destinations and are attuned to current happenings in the regions where we operate.

All of our private trips are bespoke, completely customizable and even flexible upon arrival for a discerning clientele. Like our guests, no two Aracari trips are the same. We treat those who travel with us as visiting friends and provide them with quality customer service: we equip them detailed information in a custom travel itinerary booklet, accompanied by a charged cell phone to contact our Aracari representatives available 24/7.

We understand that all our well-travelled, international guests have unique needs and interests and we will research and develop new experiences specifically suited to them. Alongside family travel, gastronomy and art & culture, soft adventure is one of our core areas of expertise. We offer fully outfitted treks, meaning that we provide all the trekking equipment and staff to assist so that even in the middle of Andes our guests will have accommodations and service as close to luxury as is possible in the outdoors. We enable guests to take advantage of Peru´s diverse nature whether they have an adventurous spirit seeking to explore in a more rugged and high-energy way, to families looking for gentler pursuits, to luxury travellers not wanting to compromise on comfort.

For her pioneering efforts in experiential travel, Aracari´s Founder Marisol Mosquera has been listed as a Top Travel Specialist to Peru and Bolivia in Condé Nast Traveler magazine for five years running, on Travel + Leisure’s A-List from 2010 to 2014, and most recently included in Perrin’s People, an award-winning list of Wendy Perrin´s top travel experts.
