Agrotravel Turismo Responsable in an effort to positively impact and generate social and economic development within the destinations it runs its trips, has decided to double its efforts in Mexico. Wonderful country which offers thousands of unique experiences to responsible travelers. Thus we have developed an iniciative along with our Mexican partner Marisol Herrera with Totonal, Elightening Experiences, an iniciative which has already been selected by AGORA PARTNERSHIP, a company incubator, which will help us achieve our goal.
However to do so, we are looking for hands willing to join us in creating impact in Mexico. Totonal is a responsible tour operator in the southern region of Mexico, creating valuable cultural, ecological, and communitarian experiences for responsible travelers who desire tailor-made, unique tours. We want to make sure that our cultural and natural heritage is preserved so generations to come are able to enjoy them.
We are asking for support so that we can participate in the Agora Partnerships Accelerator program so we can grow our business and the impact that we create. To participate in the program we need to raise $4,500 USD. Your support, whether it be $10 or $2000, is important so that we can continue to grow together. Totonal Travel has been operating for 18 months. In this time, we have promoted more than 20 rural and communitarian tourism projects in Veracruz, Oaxaca, Puebla and Chiapas, which represent an important revenue for the local economies in which these projects work. Next year we expect to more than double our impact by integrating more than 35 additional local projects and we aim to reach 500 responsible travelers by 2016. But we need your help to grow!
